The first thing you’ll likely notice when seeing Corevalay perform live is that lead singer Phil Barbetta uses a power wheelchair due to a condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). What quickly becomes far more striking, however, is his powerful, high-energy vocal performance, one that defies expectations and has you instinctively bobbing your head to every line.

 

Formed in 2014 by Gerald Vitale and Phil Barbetta, Corevalay has been a relentless force in the music scene ever since. Blending elements of rock, rap, and metal, the band has brought its high-impact sound to headline shows and stages alongside national acts such as Bush, Lacey Sturm, Keith Wallen, 40 Below Summer, Islander, Tantric, Saving Abel, and Smile Empty Soul. With performances that leave a lasting impression, Corevalay is a band audiences are still talking about long after the final note.
